Who Is Maas?
Summer: Part 1

So my summer started a couple weeks ago, so I thought I would update you all on what I’ve been up to. For the most part I’ve just been sleeping, eating, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I decided to buy a Nintendo 64 a few days ago, because I had an urge to play Mario 64, because it’s basically the best video game ever. I still haven’t decided if I’m going to go back to SIUe or not next year. I was only able to enroll in 3 classes for next semester, which is really pathetic. The Speech Communication department (especially for people on the Public Relations track; which is most of us) is ridiculously cluttered. For every 100 kids that need to get in a class, there is one of that class that can enroll 40 people; so you can see the problem. Another break=another change of heart; it seems like every time I finish a semester I feel like changing my major again. I started college as a Business (Marketing) major, then switched to Mass Communications (Advertising) and then this past year my classes dealt with Speech Communications (Public Relations). Now I’m considering putting my backup plan into effect, which entails me getting my teaching certificate and teaching algebra and geometry to middle school kids. I just haven’t decided if I want to give up and settle for being lower middle class the rest of my life. I still have until the end of July/beginning of August to decide what schools I would consider transfer to (and for what major) and if I would need to withdraw from SIUE.
